Annual NDHSAA General Assembly Meeting

The Annual NDHSAA General Assembly meeting was held at the Ramkota Inn in Bismarck on October 22. At the meeting, the following individuals were nominated for Board positions beginning the 2016-17 school term:
Class A At-Large:
Dr. Lana DeCoteau, Superintendent, Turtle Mountain
Guy Fridley, Activities Directors, Dickinson
Scott Privratsky, Superintendent, Devils Lake

Class B Southeast:
Mitch Carlson, Supertintendent, LaMoure
Tom Rettig, Superintendent, Enderlin

NDIAAA:
Patti Aanenson, Activities Director, Larimore
Michael Sorlie, Activities Director, North Sargent
Biographies and pictures will be in the December Bulletin. Schools will receive voting ballots mid-December.

Jordyn Hetland, 2015-16 NDHSAA Distinguished Student, spoke to the membership about her experiences with school activities.  Andy Dahlen, Football Committee Chair, reviewed the football survey with the membership and Executive Director Matt Fetsch reported on the local officials program, media specialist position, Constitution & By-Laws Committee work, and standards for student eligibility.
