Latest North Dakota Class B Basketball Polls Released

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The latest North Dakota Class B boys and girls basketball polls of the 2016-17 season were released Monday, January 16.

The Class B boys and girls basketball polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA).

Defending NDHSAA Class B state champion Four Winds-Minnewaukan (7-1) maintained its top spot in the boys rankings after receiving 11 first-place votes. Four Winds-Minnewaukan dropped its first game of the season 68-63 to ranked Hillsboro-Central Valley on Friday, January 13.

In the seventh Class B girls poll of the season, North Star (12-0) retained its top spot receiving 11 first-place votes. Park River/Fordville-Lankin (13-0) was ranked close behind at No. 2 with two first-place votes. Kindred (10-0) checked in at No. 3 in the poll with two first-place votes.
