Brian Bubach, NDHSAA Associate Director, to chair of NFHS Speech Committee

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Brian Bubach, Associate Director of the North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA), has been named chair of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Speech Committee.

The NFHS is the national leadership organization for high school athletics and performing arts activities with over 18,000 member schools nationwide.

The NFHS Speech Committee works conjointly with a number of other national organizations to promote high school speech and theatre activities.

Bubach administrates sanctioned fine arts events for the NDHSAA. He served on the NFHS Speech Committee from 2011-15 and is a current member of the NFHS Music Committee. He received the Communication, Speech & Theatre Association of North Dakota (CSTAND) Service to the Profession Award in 2015 and Roughrider District National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) Administrator of the Year Award in 2016.

Bubach joined the NDHSAA in 2008 and has served as Associate Director since 2014.
