Bismarck Century Wins Third Straight Girls Swimming and Diving State Title

BISMARCK – Bismarck Century scored 400 points to earn its third straight North Dakota High School Activities Association girls swimming and diving state championship on Saturday, November 11 at the Bismarck State College Aquatic and Wellness Center.

The championship is Century’s seventh in program history.

Fargo Davies scored 315 points and finished second.

Individual winners were:

200 Medley Relay:
Bismarck Century (1:45.27, Briana Rittenbach, Vanessa Herrmann, Carly Palmer, Lexi Duchsherer)

200 Freestyle:
Lexi Ljunggren, Sr., Grand Forks Central (1:51.74)

200 Individual Medley:
Vanessa Herrmann, Sr. Bismarck Century (2:03.49)

50 Freestyle:
Lexi Duchsherer, Fr., Bismarck Century (23.55)

1-Meter Diving:
Mya Winjum, Soph., Fargo Davies (427.85)

100 Butterfly:
Anna Astrup, Sr., Fargo North (57.85)

100 Freestyle:
Gracie Lingle, Soph., Fargo Davies (51.73)

500 Freestyle:
Lexi Ljunggren, Sr., Grand Forks Central (5:05.20)

200 Freestyle Relay:
Bismarck Century (1:39.04, Lexi Duchsherer, Andrea Frank, Gracie Zottnick, Paige Keller)

100 Backstroke:
Briana Rittenbach, Jr., Bismarck Century (57.11)

100 Breaststroke:
Vanessa Herrmann, Sr., Bismarck Century (1:02.89)

400 Freestyle Relay:
